Your Tasks

How to become an asset for our team:
As Operations Manager Oceanfreight  (m/f/d) you hold the strings: 

  • Negotiating and expanding local carrier contracts (Import & Export) in alignment with the regional PMO
  • Managing payment terms, demurrage, detention, and drop-off/pick-up agreements
  • Hosting regular meetings with strategic carrier partners
  • Creating a market overview (buying & selling) for the MED region
  • Driving joint customer development for V & A customers together with local sales and operations teams
  • Monitoring operational quality and KPIs across branches in your area of responsibility
  • Maintaining rates in Freightify for local carrier agreements

Your Profile

  • Completed commercial or logistics-related education
  • At least 3 years of experience in sales or business development within air & sea logistics
  • Strong customer orientation and excellent communication skills
  • Fluency in Spanish and English, both written and spoken
  • Organizational strength and confidence in negotiations
  • Familiarity with MS Office, CRM tools, and CargoWise
  • A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within Mediterranean locations
